Nice job. Oddly enough, my friend & I were just talking about Roscoe P. Coltrane today.

Very nice trim & detail work J, as well as the overall package. And a welcome to the site and hope to see more of your work!

Ok, what we all REALLY want to see is a diorama with The General flying across about 6 feet above the roof of Roscoe P, with himself on the radio describing the "hot pursuit"

I don't recall ever seeing anything but dodge monacos in the tv show. except for maybe the green and white cop car.
that must be a replica type show car someone put together.

Hello Jet007,
You might be correct. One has to remember that for a production that large they had to keep a pretty big fleet of cars on hand. I read somewhere they had up to 8 Gen. Lees that where used for different scenes, chases, etc. and about the same for the Hazard County sheriff cars. The recent "Auto Trader" ads they had to bring in 2 auto carriers rigs loaded to film the ads.

Here's six on trailer for the series.

yep, that's pretty much correct except I have caught a couple of stunt sequences where Coronets were used. presumably they didn't have enough Monacos that they were willing to destroy. Same goes for the Charger - in one crash scene they used a '68! Same with the Ateam - in one van launch sequence they used a '72 Econoline painted in the A team colours!
