Looks good so far. I like your subtle weathering on the frame.
Of, don't know if you're interested or not, but Scenes Unlimited is finishing up a dually conversion kit for this model. It'll include the dually wheels & the flaired bed sides. I've seen photos on another site, and it looks quite nice.

Hi Jim

I know very well the dually wheels model of the truck and I really like it. But the frame must be re-design for rear wheels and flaired bed sides.
This truck will be from the box.
My second F350 will be "upgraded"

Chav nice so far. I have this in the stash too. Keep putting off building it, but seeing yours take shape, it might be making an appearance on my bench. Watching to see how it goes with you.
Thanks

Guys, can you give to me a suggestions for the main color of the body? I think between metallic gray, green/blue, blue and green - all metallic colors.
What you think about it?
Thanks fellas

Hi Pete, I've just think about the same color
And because it's an american truck I'll leave the chrome parts/first think for black matt for grill, rims, bars and etc.
Now the progres:

I like your dry brushing to pop the details. Progress looks good

I agree, I know that all the experienced painters say "don't drybrush" but the effect you got from that technique looks excellent here.

In some of the photos there doesn't seem to be much of a contrast between the Metallic Gray & the Chrome Silver. Probably just the lighting, though. I do like the silver.

Hi Jim

, it is true there is not much contrast between two colors for now.
Let see what will be after polishing the paint and several coats of gloss clear

Is the metallic finish supposed to look grainy and sparkly or is that a problem with the paint?

Hi Timothy
About grainy - it's not finished yet, not polishing, not gloss varnish
For sparkly - the paint is Tamiya XF-56 Metallic Gray and it is sparkly:
I'm sure after polishing the grainy effect will be fixed

Chav
looking good buddy. I agree re: the contrast between the 2, but once you lay a gloss coat it may show up. I find Tamiya silver does go very dull, I use black gloss below which helps to bring it up. The grainy effect will go once the gloss is on too, Tamiya paints I use and swear by them. Look forward to seeing more progress picks.
The colour was a good choice, it will look the dogs once gloss and polished.

Hi Pete
after only polishing the metallic grey /it is matt by the way/ with fiber towel /no polishing compound and gloss finish/ the grainy effect is no more
Now I'm creating some "er-c" art

for the hood using photoshop and corel-draw. When I have some progress I'll show you the photos
