I've resently bought Revells 1/24 VW T3 UN van kit. To my horror I found it had toned glass parts. As I plan to build a military version these parts are no good to me.
I've seen Revell does a camper version of the T3; does anyone know if this kit has toned glass parts as well?

Found a few sprue shot's on the net. Looks as if the camper kit has non tinted windows.

Hi, I have this kit in this boxing and the glass is clear, maybe you were unlucky or have a rarity.The built-ups of the camper I have seen all seem to have clear glass.Hope this helps.

Thanks. Just wanna be sure before I ordered it.
It did came as a surprise that the "clear" parts were toned; all build models of the kit I've seen seem to have clear Windows parts. Can't imagine what have darkened the parts?

If memory serves correctly Revell did an ambulance(rare and pricey now)and this glass was for that. They also did a Magnum P.I. version (TJ had one) and I think this was in that one also. My best guess is these were leftovers from these boxings.
