Hi All
This is my first race car model ever to build and i took on a rather challenging project with Tamiya's 1/12 McLaren.
I decided to try a new idea with this fantastic detailed kit. In order to show both the internal details and the outer body I decided to cut all parts of the outer body in half. A very ub unusyal idea. I hope ot worked fine. I also created a race track diorama.
Please see the video of the complete making here:

Cheers
Hussein

Hussein,
Just a fantastic concept to the age old problem of displaying all that internal detail that so many racing cars kits have these days. Your finished replica is certainly a rock solid build, extremely well painted and decaled.
My only issue with the Tamiya concept of using screws is the few that show on the finished model. Not much one can do about it.
While I was never a Senna fan due to his driving technique and attitude, (I was a Prost,& Mansell fan), his loss was a great blow to the world of international racing. Given a full career, certainly would have attained the number 1 status as all time greatest F-1 driver.
Seeing your completed build really makes me want to start my Ebbro Lotus ASAP, even though I have 1 build left to go before it's scheduled start on my workbench.
