Going into the final stages og assembly.

The pedals were quite fiddly to instal, since there is nothing but a big hole to put them in, nothing underneath, so no other option then to just glue them to the side of the slots.

It's looking really good Jesper.
Looking at the photos it always interests me as to what detail a manufacturer provides in a kit. Separate pedals in the last picture look amazing!
cheers

This looks superb Jesper! The body colour is spot on for the period, and the variance in the tone and sheen level on the black upholstery and running boards, and the brass and woodwork, really sets it all off.
Lovely work!

Superb display,
Jesper! That color scheme of wine red over black it's exactly what I chose for my '34 Roadster. The wooden panel looks also very nice in its place and, as already said, the "texture play" shows splendidly the various parts of the car.
Very well done indeed, my friend!
Cheers!

Jasper,
Simply Outstanding
As Gabriel said, your color combination really is eye catching. You've got a absolutely perfect leather finish, that's how good it looks.
Hard to believe that the kit designers gave no thought to how the builder would install the foot peddles.

Thank you for your kinds words and for looking in my friends.
The separate pedals are a nice touch, from ICM, I just wished they had given more thought on how to attach them. I did not see this issue, before I had to attach the pedals. Had i noticed this sooner, I could have glued a piece of styrene sheet, to the underside.

I'm calling this one done. A very enjoyable kit. A few issues, with fitting and some quite fiddly and brittle parts, but nothing that ruins the overall impression, of this very nice kit.
My initial plan, was to add a bit of wiring, to the engine, but decided against it, since the engine bay is so compact, it would be to fiddly and I would most likely end up with glue in all the wrong places.
I did add some earth colored pigments, to the thread, of the tires, but it doesn't show in the images. They are not as white and shinny as the pictures indicate

A few images, with a wee bit of sunlight shinning on the old T.

That indeed does look beautiful Jesper. Fantastic finish with the deep dark red.

That is a really beautifully finished build Jesper, well done! The contrast between the rich Wine Red, the bright brass and the black just works so nicely, and your finish on the paintwork looks superb.
The only suggestion I would put forward is to flatten out the finish on the roof material to a total dead flat. It appears that way in the images I have seen, and would add another dimension to the various tones and shades of black already there.

All-round awesome build, I love it!
Cheers, D

Jesper,
Just a super impressive build for sure.
The over all finish really looks the part of what a well cared for "T Touring" should like up close and personal.
I'm still not sure how or why anyone could have convinced the powers to be that White tires were the way to go in an era when the few roads were dirt, mud, or some combination of both.

Hi Jesper
That looks simply fantastic!

I must admit I'm seriously tempted to get one of ICM's Model T kits - they look wonderful value for money.
All the best

Thank you gentlemen, much appreciated.
James, Michael: Thank you
Damian: you're right, the top does need something to stand out, from the other black features. Perhaps a shot of Tamiya Nato black?
Joel: My only guess would be, that the white tires were cheaper
Rowan: I can definitely recommend these Ford T models. A part, from the few fiddly and brittle parts, this was a joy to build and makes a very nice display.

Yes, something slightly on the blue side of black, and a good dose of Dullcote to make it dead flat.

Jesper I have the male and female figure for riding in this vehicle from ICM that I offered up for review and no one asked for. Would you like to take a crack at them for this model?

Nick: Thank you very much, appreciate it.
Damian: Not a color, I would thought could work, but it does. Killer finish.
Darren: Grateful for the offer, but I already have the kit. Ordered it, as soon, as I could. The are on my desk now, being cleaned. Thank you very much, for having me in mind though.

That gloss finish is gorgeous!
I think I really will have to treat myself to one of these Model Ts in some form or other!

No point in buying figures and not painting them
Painted in AK acrylics. Not the best image, but will make better ones, once they are done.

Nice work so far Jesper. Like Joel, it totally slipped my mind that you were working on this figure set. There is just so much going on in the forums now (which is a very good thing).
I will be watching and taking notes, this is the same set that I have just started, and I’m going to need all of the help I can get!
