I started Fujimi's Pantera a few month back. Just primed and painted a few items,in the late autumn, so I would have something to assemble during the winter.

It's a curbside model and the bottom is somewhat simple. Not a big part count model, but what you get is of top quality.
Will start to paint the body, as soon as we get a little bit of spring, which, at the moment, seem to be a long way away

I always liked the looks this car has. Another great addition to your collection.

Got ssome paint on the Pantera. A little touching up needed here and there, but all in all, I'm quite pleased.

Jesper,
Another build I just got caught up on. As Big D said, it's a classic for sure.
Nicely done gloss paint job. Are you using a rattle can, or an Air Brush? Do you rub out the paint after it cures or use a clear coat and then rub & polish?

Joel: It's rattle can paint. I usually give my models a clearcoat, but not this time. No polishing yet. Will soon give it a little bit of polishing and wax.

A wee update. Painted the last, of the black details on the body. Gave the body a light polish and a bit of wax.
The turn signals have been painted and glued in, but are so deeply set, they can barely be seen.

Well done, Jesper! the contrast between paints looks really cool.
Cheers!

Gabriel: I'm glad you can see them
I contemplate painting the backside, of the turn signals silver. At the moment it's clear yellow on clear plastic. When the body is fully assembled, they will look even darker. I'm hoping the silver background will lighten things a bit.

Jesper,
The finished paint job looks great with a really nice shine to it. Like Gabriel said, the turn signals do indeed show up very clearly in your pictures.

Jesper,
Just an outstanding build. With cars, my way of thinking is that the finish is like 70% or better of the overall presentation. And your finish is dead on perfect.
The paint looks flawless and perfectly polished and waxed. Could you please post your painting & finishing steps. I'm curious to find out how you achieved that level.
Joel

I once bought a motorized kit of a De Tomaso Mangusta in 1/12 scale - Bandai, perhaps?
I wonder what became of it.......😞
