Hi all got this for my birthday 









Inspired by Bengalensis build I've decided to try and do this version









Can find no detail of the chassis so will have to make that up, will have to learn resin casting as I will have 3 pairs of suspension to make and 6 wheels.not allowed to start it till the 26th

I've never seen a Citreon transporter before. Talk about one weird looking transporter.

I'm signing on as I just have to see how you pull this one off.

I never knew Citroen can carry itself, let alone a second car! - Just teasing! Very interesting vehicle and the gray one is more classy than the blue one. It looks like they are sort of improvised though. Nonetheless, the result it's going to be a stunner!

Yep I agree will probably go grey one (though not necessarily that colour) I'm thinking green and gold, but hey I'm not known for my predictable nature.

This is going to be one great conversion for sure

Like Gabriel, I'm having a real hard time trying to figure out just how a Citroen passenger car can be converted into a transporter. Is this something that was done at the factory as an expansion to the line, where engine, transmission, suspension, & Chassis were completed changed and upgraded for the job at hand

This I know. It had to have a powerplant conversion of some sort, because the base car could barely propel itself.

I agree that the gray one is classier, but I have to comment on the blue one. It might be the angle of the lighting, but that door does not look to be the same color as the hood and fenders of that vehicle.

Hi all well I've started, going to build the Meilen version.

Started on the engines.







And got the colour I'm going to use, i may be adding gold go faster stripes to it, not sure yet



The eagle eyed among you may notice I've had a weird reaction to the paint on one of the doors (all the rest of the paint work seems to be ok)

Two Engines? And you're painting the bodywork already? Did you do the conversion as yet?

2 complete kits saloon (to be converted) and a cabriolet hence 2 engines not painted the saloon body yet as I have to do a fair bit of hacking.

That's fantastic - looking forward to this! The front wheel drive ensures that behind the seats, anything goes! There have also been several movies with half Citroëns driving around - 😏

And when you're done, there' always the "Mille-pattes" (or centipede), the 10-wheel Michelin tyre test bed.......but it only used some body parts from the DS

Did a bit more to the engines





Started adding the shackles plates to the bed



Wondered how much filling would be needed so added some primer





Must say I'm quite pleased so far.

The twin engines are really looking good. Did you make both of the radiator fans?

And the bed conversion looks like it was molded.

Hi all placed the wings and bonnet on to see how it looks

Had a go at making a winch for the flatbed.

Hi all here's the next update put the suspension together temporarily to see what size wheels I will need for the flatbed.



1/24 scale with tyre at 28 mm so unless some kind person has 8 wheels with tyres that size I will have to have a go at resin moulding.
Did some more to the engines and done the leather seats as well.

Nice progress on those two engines. I'm really impressed at how the leather or should I say Vinyl turned out.

I've noticed that as they've used common parts in both kits the chrome strips on the cabriolet version have not been continued on the front wings so I've added them.
