Hello everyone.

Long time watcher, first time poster.

Has anyone built this?



It is a 1/12 scale Doyusha Ford Mustang Mach 1. I remember when these kits first appeared in Australia and the hobby shop up the road (remember those) got me to build a few of them for display in the shop, but not this one. I also have the 1/12 Lamborghini Countach LP400 but that has been built.

Any comments?

First time poster in this forum..

I also have about 20 other 1.12s in the collection, mostly Tamiya, but some weird ones like a 1/12 Mazda RX-7 by Fujimi.

I have opened the box and someone has attempted to paint the body and some panels a nice blue, but it will have to be fixed up as I can see some sink marks in the paint.

Being 1/12 and a pretty simple cars it won't be hard to add a bit of detailing. I usually go to town with PE, wooden decks and brass bits on my ship builds but I don't think there will be any detail sets out there for this model.

It has good engine detail etc. I also picked up a 1/8 Monogram 32 Ford Hot Rod that came yesterday. I will attempt to start blogs for both of them if and when I ever get arounf to building them.

I am in auto models for couple of years now but I never heard of such kit manufacturer! Ir is true, my horizon is limited to 1/35 - 1/24 scales but yet...

One of the famous "multimedia" kits from yesteryear! Very nice and probably very rare!
