OK... I get the whole kitsch and retro thing - but Monkey bikes were never in the least bit cool in my neck of the woods back in the '70s. Anybody spotted riding one was instantly ridiculed!

So, it's fascinating and bizarre in equal measure to see these little bikes revived! I'm sure they're great fun to ride, but I wouldn't want to go any distance on one - they must be cramp-inducingly uncomfortable...
