Having already released a 1/16th Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing, Italeri have now released the classic Merc in 1/24th.

Thanks for the news, Andy!

This kit should be appealing for its price. I have the Tamiya one and, for what I can say from the pictures of the sprues, the latest is far ahead in quality. Unfortunately, the retail price of about 60 USD it is prohibitive for most modelers.
Whichever one, Mercedes 300SL it is Der Klassiker and my all time favorite series car.
