The Battle of the BRAT rages on!

I’ve been hacking away at the original AMT BRAT for a while now, and am making good progress. Thankfully, the body seems to have the highest number of flaws, since I was able to get the chassis and engine done without major issue.

Of course, that doesn’t mean AMT still didn’t find ways to disappoint; that would be unthinkable! From poor location to just plain old forgetting to finish the job, the BRAT has some interesting quicks in its lower half.

Love the commentary and plenty of warnings in there for those who follow in your footsteps. Bringing the 2 halves to a successful union is a chapter I'm eager to read now.

Just finished reading through your next chapter at the Sprue Lagoon. It's exceptionally well written as usual, with just the right amount of detail pics so we can fully understand the issues, and how you solved them.

Like You, I love engines, suspensions, and transmissions, so I clearly sensed your continued frustration as you worked your way through the engine/transmission/suspension issues. the final result clearly shows that you won the battle.

You've got me wondering just want does belong on the top of the block, so I just might Google it and see for myself what AMT left out.
