I'm glad you like the results. I enjoyed this build quite a bit. It is certainly a parts box special, with bits from several kits, a few aftermarket parts, and lots of scratch work. My steady challenge with scratch builds like this involves the suspension - both keeping axle center lines in check (keeping the center of the wheel in the center of the wheel well) and getting the final product to sit flatly on all four tires - what a headache! despite all the other seemingly more complicated tasks, getting it to sit right is my biggest challenge - even straight OOB builds! uhhh....that and painting - an equally unpredictable art for me!

Getting all 4 wheels to sit on the road at one time at the same toe/camber/caster angles, has been a major challenge for me as well. Especially with those pesky F1 cars that the kitmaker has concocted dozens of pcs that all have to fit precisely, and one side equal the other in all those planes. More times then not, I come close, but it's no cigar.

As for books, well, when I do read one these days, I start one and I finish it. Of course for a while I was into audio books which made all of them more enjoyable as it added a whole new dimension. Plus you can't read a book while driving to and from work, but you sure can lessen to an audio book.
