I have been on a Ferrari building tear lately.

I am currently building a 312T to go in the stable of F1 Ferraris.

Here are the four I have already built.

From L to R, a 312B, a 312T, a 126C2, and a 641/2

Let's see yours!

Patrick, the link doesn't work.

you can copy an image url address and insert it between brackets
[image]your image url[/image] - use 'img' instead of 'image' inside brackets.

Simple!

Patrick,
Great to see that you're starting to post here once again. Yep, I'm the same Joel from Motorsport Modeling that we both belong to.

As Gabriel said, your links don't work, so please double check it so all can see those incredible Ferrari's.

Hi Joel! Great to see us cross paths over here... found the right thing on imgur to get it together.

You are building a very nice collection there Patrick, lovely work!

Looking forward to more progress reports coming through. How about joining in the current Race Theme Group Build with one of your builds, we are only 3 weeks in to the 6 month run time.

Cheers, D

Great looking builds Patrick. Those last century F1 cars are so much nicer than today's aero driven ones.

cheers

Patrick, beautiful display. I cannot show mine as yet, because hasn't arrived yet But as soon it will arrive, I will start my first ever F1 build, the six wheeled monster. It's not a Ferrari though.

Ah yes, the Tyrrell P34!

Did you get the repop with PE? I built one 25 years ago that hasn’t aged well as far as paint and decals. I don’t know what I was using as clear but it has yellowed over the years.

But, in a package deal, I got the new issue with the PE. Package is still shrinkwrapped. I may just use the PE and the new body work like I did on my 312T4. I found a partially built donor kit that gave me the body panels I needed. The chassis and engine were fine but the overall paint job sucked. So I redid it!

In about five years, I’ll get to it! But there is a Matra that is next after all the Ferraris...

I’d still like to have one or two of the current era Ferrari’s but they are making 1/12th kits unless you want to pay MFH prices! Then you can get anything!

It was sent to me for review, but for what I can judge from the picture it's an older version, without PE fret.
I'm watching Nick's build right now as warm up. Looks like I'm gonna have some problems in the assembly stage.

Testors gloss coat has a reputation for yellowing in time.

1/12th? Seems odd to send you are 30 year old kit when there is a newer one... I don't remember much about it.

Hi Patrick.

It's easy to join in the Group Build, just go to the Campaign Page and hit the "Enlist" button on the right hand side in the Participants box.

Once the Group Build ends, if you're build is completed, your will be awarded a ribbon which will then appear on the RHS of your profile page. I have achieved 30 ribbons over my almost 11 years here, but there are folks out there with hundreds!

Please don't hesitate to ask any questions if things need clarification, there are plenty of really helpful folks here ready to jump in and assist.

Cheers, D

Oh it’s the 1/20. IndyCals make the 1/12th decals for this edition. I’m thinking about doing it for something different!

Do I need to create a thread of the 312T4 build?

It's up to you, Patrick! Either you can post now and then updates in the Campaign thread, either you can open a separate thread if you intend on more consistent and regular updates. If you choose the second option, a few progress pictures still have to be posted in Campaign's main thread.

Sorry to usurp Campaign manager's authority - I just seen the question remained unanswered for some time.
