Here's my so-so Monogram MG. My only defense is that it's an old kit! I added PE spokes which meant cutting the plastic ones from their rims and squeezing the PE in their place. Lots of Molotow for chrome touch-up.

Great looking MG & driver. Figure kind of reminds me of Phryne Fisher (as portrayed by Essie Davis), except Phryne drive a Hispano-Suiza.

Lovely clean build. The woodgrain panel looks great and very neat work on the spoke replacements. The figure finishes it off beautifully.

Yeah...the wheel set came from South Eastern Finecast. They were obviously made for a different MG as the finished wheelset was several mm's larger diameter than the Monogram ones and didn't fit under the fenders, but the PE spoke disks were a perfect fit. It was the rims that were too large in diameter. So...chop, fit, and replace.

Great job on the old Monogram MG-TC. Your detailing of the spoke wheels really looks the part. As for dia size, the TC had smaller wheels then the TF which had the largest dia of all the early MGs.

Excellent wood simulation on the dash. My only "if" is the wood wheel. I believe that all the TCs had the standard Black composite plastic type wheel.

I've been a MG nut since I bought my 1967 MGB. I still regret the day I sold it.
