Hi all...
I have been looking for a civilian car model at 1/35 scale for my upcoming 1944 France diorama for about a year, but could not find anything. I am planning to make it in ruined condition with stone and rubble of a building on it-all damaged...
Two days ago, when I was looking for something in the attic, I saw the box with my old toys in it. Guess what... I found a 1/36 die-cast Beetle in it, ready-painted, ready-aged... To check its scale, I placed a german driver in it and it is quite suitable for my scale and diorama :-) As the car will bea damaged one without a driver, the scale of it will not be recognizable, I suppose
Here are two pictures of it:
Well, time to go and check your old toys for some useful items I guess :-)
