This is a 1/12 Ducati 916 by Tamiya that I built months ago for my wifes' god daughter Kirsten. This is also the first motorcycle model that I built. Comments & suggestions are welcome.

Any problems with the kit? Anything to becareful of?
Looks like an awesome kit. Be my first Motorcycle kit as well.

Looks good, nice paint job ( I hate gloss paint, never really managed it and never had a change to pratice it.)
The personalised numberplate (licenceplate) is a excellent touch which really finishes the model.
Cheers

Thanks guys. I've been wanting to build a motorcycle model for a long time & I guess this is it. The personalized number plate was something I thought would give it some sort of originality.
As far as I could remember I did'nt encounter any major problem with this kit. The only thing that made it more challenging is the painting of a number of tiny parts which sometimes could be straining to the eyes & to my patience. I painted it using Tamiya acrylic paints & after they're dried I swabbed it with Future for that extra glossy look.

Great work!! I love motorcycle models, but have never made one that big!!
One thing I thought of was the seat looked like plastic, but that could just be the picture...
