I have just thought something up which might make an interesting campaign.....
from 1/76 and up.....
motorcycles and bicycles. ( both civillian and army )
These would include cycles with a sidecar, and also the kettenkraftrad.
Let me know what you think.
This campaign will probably take place later this year.

Sounds like a good idea to me....
Bet if you post something calling all the bikers at the site about it, you would get enough enlistments.
Heck, maybe we'd even do one of our own bikes, Past or Present.

Danial,
Orange County Choppers is a custom chopper shop that is featured in the show "American Choppers" on the Discovery Channel. Pretty neat show. Link below,

Good to see we moved to the active side of the campaign page....... :-) :-) :-)
Nothing exciting from the grumpyoldbiker.... Just another simple out of the box build, with the required three wheels..... LOL
Will start as soon as I can.

I just signed up to this campaign today. Have a Kettenkrad in the works, and should be working on the tracks for it now, rather than sitting at my PC!
Can I submit a model that I've already completed? Feels a bit like I would be cheating, so I guess the answer is probably no... I have an old model of a Ducati 916 (Tamiya) that I finished a few years ago, ten maybe - not sure.
Anyway, I was pleased to see that the Kettenkrad qualifies - better get on and do some more to it.

Quick as a flash (well, several hours later...) here they are. Dragon 1/35 Kettenkrad, still a work in progress, and the Ducati 916, that I finished several years ago - hence the appearance!
Looking at the pics I should have replaced the tool clamps on the Kettenkrad with metal ones, and as for the Duke... Well I hadn't heard of Future, white glue, or oil washes back then

Thanks Richard. Doing the red paint with a brush was fun - took me a long time to get rid of all the fingerprints!
There's a bit of a story attached to this bike. Came home from a trip at sea a few years back and wifey was looking a bit sheepish - turned out she had been dusting just before I got home and the ducati became a victim of 'collateral damage'! She was worried that I'd be annoyed about it, fortunately though it was fairly simple to fix
I'll post more of the Kettenkrad when it's finished

I'm interested in this campaign idea but I don't know anything really about campaigns.. like how do you sign up? What is expected of me? Are there deadlines for posting pics? The thing is I rely totally on ordering my models and supplies and I would need at least a month or 6 weeks to get whatever I need.
So, can you guys explain things to me.. and maybe I'll have enough time to join in.
Thanks

Click on the button 'Campaigns' at the top of the page, then click on a campaign. There will be a 'join' button on each campaign page. This campaign 'On Two Wheels' Finishes on the 6th of October, so there probably won't be time for you to get something done, unless you have a suitable kit lying around or can get one quicker.
