I finally finished my Buick.
It is the worst kit I have ever build. The fiting was awefull.
The body is AB with Humbrol enamels, then polished with a microfiber cloth, I use for my glasses, then I gave it an acrylics black washaround the doors, the window frames and the trunk lid and finally a Humbrol gloss coat.

Not the best of pictures, but it's dark and snowy outside, so the livingroom- and kitchen table was my best option.

Worst fitting kit of all huh? you could have fooled me. Looks great. I normally build the stuff that fly and the others that have long cannons, dabbling in a car or two every blue moon. Nice build. Got a 53' Stude on the bench presently. Maybe it'll show up here someday. "Q"

looks great and pictures too. the thing with muscle cars is that they're all (not all) in 1/25 scale. how come? would be nice if you set them all side by side with 1/24 cars.

Hi Liberator

I agree with you. It would be nice if they all were 1/25 or 1/24, not both. As far as I know AMT makes all their muscle cars in 1/25. Monogram/Revell makes muscle cars in 1/24 and 1/25.

I love the car(Big fan of US musclecars), it's just that the quality of the kit could have been a lot better.

Yeah, it really is annoying to have problems -especially fitting problems!

If you had taken that photo outside, I would've swore it was a real car. Great job.

That's exactly the type of car "red-hot-babe-catcher" I wished I had 15 years ago!!! (and you may say if the hot refers to the red or the babe!).
A day and this car was all yoy needed!

But seriously: real awesome job you did there and great work if known it didn't fit right. Good thing you did not put the kit aside!
