Here's the suspension/engine out of the revell kit. It is OOB, though after looking at a reference photos there is room for some superdetailing that I won't even try this time.
Anyway, first car in years, having fun. Most of the colors show here are from the Testors Metalizer line and have been drybrushed (despite what the bottle says)

That looks great for your first car in years Nathan, You may want check your reference to see if you can maybe gloss or semi gloss coat some of the black parts to get some different textures it might help, just an idea looks great
