Great paint job Pete! How did you mask it off?

Marty
I didn't actually have to mask it off, the white and silver parts are actually decals. It was the first time I'd used Microsol/ set and I'm pleased with the results.

Truck is looking great On the airlines,at least here in the U.S.,there are some areas on the gladhands the connectors on the airlines that are painted blue on one line and red on the other
When looking at the airline hookups area on the trailer the blue is to the inside (left) The red is toward the outside (right) Here is some pics to show you what I mean They are of the red line

Peter I was noticing on a couple of them trucks, they have some great decals with them, this one site recommends in the upper levels up skills of putting models together because of their decals, cause they just about take up the whole truck, and some with trailers, have you seen that one that has the scenery that goes from truck to trailer, with the decals, that take up the whole truck and trailer darn near.

I finally got my 1:24 ruler and started to draw up blue prints for my trailer, I decided to scratch build it, and I never realized before, that 48' is going to take the full 24", that is like my drawing paper, it only has room for 30'.

Which that is fine cause everything is going on either in the back of the trailer, and the only other things are the dolly's, and spare tire carriers up front, so they can go on another page to how to build them.

I spent my whole life around trucks, and I've owned my own sense 83, but I don't know how they do things over there though.

Sweet. I've got that kit and someday I'll build it. I like some of the euro paint schemes that the tractors have...it's the pin striping that would kill me to have to replicate. I've seen Mr Whitehead has a set or two of pin striping but it isn't the same thing as I've seen.

...I agree with the others........got any more to show off?!

...just checked the stash...I actually have the TGA with the 20' container. The kit I have that would be a decaling nightmare would be the "friedenfelds"...but it sure looks cool.
