I'm hardly a novice with decals, but regardless, I've always found them tricky. I'm working on Tamiya's Mazda 787B, the orange and green Le Mans prototype. The decals form the green portion of the scheme and they are required to do some tricky stuff, especially in the front brake duct area. Now I've never used decal set (or whatever it is called), but is there a product I can use that will "liquify" the decal backer and help it form more easily to contours? The decals in the 787B kit are really thick and really aren't wanting to form into the recess around the front brake duct.
