I strapped down some wierd stuff on car and trucks much too small to carry this stuff when I worked at carryout at Menards (a regional Lowe's-style store), but nothing like this!

In Baghdad and Al-Kut, we used them for above ground storage of water.

In the US your supposed to have your mirrors be able to see behind you, but I always seen people pulling cabin cruisers with stock mirrors everywhere, knowing they couldn't see behind themselves.

But it seems the law never bothers them, but if I was hitching something like that up, they would be there to give me a ticket, before I even pulled out on the road.

I'm on the road over in Iraq a lot and this is a pretty comon site . The first few times it seems a bit odd then after a day or two it is the norm . They get pretty close to hitting the over passes , and some of the light lines are pretty low in some of the towns . Having fun in the sun Toad .

Never been to Iraq, but travelled many other parts of the Middle East. Loads like this seem to be common though out the area.

You just never know what you will see strapped on over, or behind some vehicle.

Wish I still ahd the pic (it is somewhere lost at home) of a guy in a little toyota type compact truck with a camel in the back. Lot of camel, not a lot of truck !! LOL
