A google image search for "NASCAR Engine" gives almost 900 photos.

Hey capnjock sound like your building a Nascar kit. As for interior pics, well that all depends on the year of the car. Nascar changes rules every year for safety reasons. I have a vast of info and pics of the cars throught the years, so if you have an idea or if you are building a kit let me know which one and I could go from there.

Thanks for the help guys! Yes I am building a Nascar vehicle. One of the Petty family a few years ago. Of course my main field is armor, but from the guys on this site, I am not alone in stretching out to race cars. Thanks again

Ah the Pettys, King Richard. 200 cup wins and 7 championship. Ok what car, kit and kit no.# do you have, second you can tell from the instruction sheet most times. When the kit hits the shelves they most often write the year befores stats and records of that year. Once I know what car your building then I can dig up the pics your looking for.

Hi, mother, The kit is as follows: Revell/Monogram #43 STP Pontiac stock car. Kit #2493. I am also using the April 1999 Scale Auto Enthusiast article on basic detailing of stock cars as a starting point. I figure, if I am going to try to detail it, then pictures of that car would be helpful. Thank you for any direction you may have.
