While waiting for a camera before gluing my railtank parts on, I wanted to work on a cheapy-kit to kill the time. As I was browsing around the LHS I came across a new Revell 1/32 series, "NightCrawlers". Here's the lowdown.
There are about 7 or 8 differant cars in the series including a 57 Chevy, a 69 Camaro, a 69 GTO and this, a 70 Mach I Mustang:
It's typical for a snap-together kit, with no engine and molded in two colors, blue and black. Oh yeah, and clear too. I love these little kits and this one was really no exception.
So, I did some quick sanding on the body to change it more to a Boss model than the Mach 1 because I hated the Mach and loved the Bosses. Went with a metal-flake green body with an almond and brown interior.
What's cool is I did some good work with Bare-metal foil, which, I never really used before as chrome, stuff works really well!
So, with this in mind, keep an eye out for these models. They cost about $5.50 each, which makes 'em good crushers for you Monster truck builders!
Live long, love well and model till your fingers fall off!
