Well, along with my 70 Mustang, I did a quick 69 GTO model in 1/32 as well. It's a Revell "NightCrawlers" model.
Again, a very simplistic kit with no details to speak of. Again, no chrome parts and I hated the fact that it didn't have the telltale GTO spoiler at all, but, I built it anyway! :-)

Here ya go!

I didn't get the ass-end, but it came out rough anyway and no need to show off too much of a poor job!

Now, to load up something else!

Thanks guys! Mary, good to hear from ya!

As to the GTO, I think it's coming out great for what I had to work with.
Here's the cover of the box, which pretty much tells ya what the original colors were.

Green! Flourescent, booger green! Ugh, had to paint!

Now, I am going back and forth on "Niamh" the railtank. I don't want to go too far on construction as I want to photograph every step and at the moment, I have no readily-accessable camera.
So, I have been messing around with 1/32 cars and (soon) trucks, which are kinda hard to find.

So, back to the bench!

Nice job, I bought the same kit at Hobby Lobby during the 50% off sale (whopping $2.50 for the old Goat).

C'mon Rob, ya gotta build it!
Don't put it in the stash or we'll never get to see it, I've seen your stash!

It was a fun kit. Very simple, but fun. It has a lot of room for improvement, if that's your bag and with a quick paintjob, it came out well enough.

C'mon Rob, I know ya wanna! :-)
I did the '70 mustang too, here.

70 Mustang by Cuhail

The body came out better than the GTO's did.
I did more chrome foil too.

So, that's my 2 bits,
Cuhail

Was this the same model as "The Judge"? I remember that one Bright orange same body style. My best friend in college had a '65. Man could that puppy crunch you back in the seat. I was in High school during this era....Chevelle SS-396, Camero Z-28, Pontic 455 Trans-Am (white with the blue stripe). Corvette Makoshark Stingrays. Boss Mustangs, Superbee's 'Cuda's...saw them all and rode in about 60 % of them.

Yep, only the only "real" Judge was the '69 GTO. It had a 400 cid. and came in "Grabber Orange".
As a little history lesson, I can tell ya'll this,

The first GTO was actually a '64 Pontiac Tempest sport package designed by none other than John DeLorean. It wasn't it's own model until 1965.
In 1966, a re-design of it's body style finally gave it the "growler" front end and a 389cid. Tri-barrel carb system cooked the tires
1967 was the most popular body style and continued the 389cid engine. The only noticable differance between the '66 and '67 bodystyles was that the grill pattern went from a "+++" (Horizontal and verticle) on the '66 to a "xxx" (diagonal) on the '67.
In 1968 the body style changed to the "A" body style. It also beefed up the engine to a 400cid. This is the model I built, a 1968.
In 1969, Pontiac came out with "The Judge". The same body style as 1968, but, with a "High Output" 400cid., a 400 Transmission, the "Grabber Orange" paintjob and the rear spoiler.
In 1970, the GTO changed it's body style a little more, keeping a "RS" model and also a Judge variant. It also kept the 400cid. engines, both "Regular" and "High Output" Judge.
In 1971, they "officially dropped the "Judge" model yet kept the "H.O." engine as an extras package.
In 1972 (My favorite year of the GTO models) the bodystyle had changed yet again, with the long, RAM-AIR hood scoop and jumped the engine up to a 455cid High Output and a 400 transmission.
1973, they decided to downgrade the GTO package back to a LeMans "extra". The same with '74.
There it ends. There was no 1975 GTO despite what ANYBODY tells you.
Well, that's my history lesson for today. I hope ya'll enjoyed!

I'm quite sure the "Grabber orange" is a Ford color, optional from 1969 or 1970. The first GTO's with the "Judge" option came in Carousel red.

You are right, old man, you're right!

I am remembering what I knew 20 years ago, when I was really into GTOs. I thank you.

Where did I get "Grabber Orange" from??? Maybe that's what the "General Lee" was painted.

Hmmm...
