The latest release from Trumpeter comes as a refreshing change in the form of a 1/25th scale model of one of the more emblematic of American vehicles - the American LAFRANCE Eagle Fire Pumper . This new kit (in 1/25th scale) will make a welcome change from all those sober-colored AFVs... The full story, including complete images, can be seen:

Who says you can't?
OD Rescue truck
OD crash
Big OD Oshkosh
and one to confuse you
I've seen some in desert sand too, but can't locate any pics of those at the moment.
I've been looking forward for the Trumpeter ALF for awhile now, I'm hoping it is able to meet our expectations its been quite some time since we had a new fire engine kit.

Man, that looks fine! I've been waiting all my modeling life for something like this! I definitely will buy one!
Best of all, Trumpeter "tricked it out" by giving the fan a deck gun, lights, chrome, pump panel, sirens, decals, etc. Trumpeter didn't "cheapy-weepy" this kit.
Thumbs WAY UP!

That firetruck looks amazing. Not many firetruck kits around, so this is a very welcome release.
I hope Trumpeter, sometime, in the future, will release one of the open cap fire pumper or laddertruck's from the 40's and 50's
