I've looked all over the place and i can't seem to find one... A newer style jeep wrangler kit (97 or newer TJ wrangler). I have seen the Tomb raider addition Rubicon but a want a standard style Jeep wrangler. If anyone knows of anyone that makes or sells one please let me know.
Thanks.

Thanks, i do have that kit, however I'm looking for a TJ Wrangler 97 or newer. Jeep has different 2 letter names for each model: TJ, YJ, CJ, etc.

Yes i know the CJ is the older model next to the Tomb Raider kit its the next best thing, you may be able to convert the Tomb Raider Jeep but that could be a lot of work.

I was reading the other day about the outrageous licensing fees demanded by Chrysler these days is the major hold up on any new models of anything bearing the name Jeep.

I think it was in one of the Tamyia magazines I read it, what issue I don't remember, but the question was when were they going to release a 1/48 scale jeep, and the reply was probably not soon, due to the outrageous fees Chrysler wanted.

I think the older kits carrying the name are under the old fees, until the license runs out. then watch your pockets.... or stock up now.
