Here is a NHRA Funny Car I built last year, Revell 1/24th Mooneyes F/C driven by Kenji Okazaki. These kits build with no problems and are basic with very little detail. Doing some basic scratch building, adding some wires and hoses will enhance your racecar. I just did a few things here, like the duel distributors, the MSD and Rev-limiters boxes, fuel system center and housing, pulley wheels with the belt made from tape. All the linkages for the throttle and brakes. The blower bag with safety straps, exhaust sensors and the computer box. The 5 point racing harness was added in using PE, and the plug wire had the rubber boots added on at the ends, as well as a few other things I failed to mention.

Flipping sweet....again!

Dude, I love your engines. You make them so busy and detailed, again providing awesome references.

Getter dunn!

Nice work on the Funny car Joe the engine details look great, finding reference material on all the hoses and wires must be difficult.

Great piece of work Joe. The engine detailing is absolutely great.
The exhaust sensors look like soldering wire, what about the spark plug wires?

I just did a few things here

That's a laugh... :-) Thats just too sweet. Excellent work Joe. Nothing like a busy engine to make it look the part. Any suggestions for obtaining ref pics for subjects like this or other race cars in general for that matter? Thanks for sharing your work. "Q"

From what I understand the Support Center is up and running again, so "Yous Guys" can start submitting your articles, etc.

Hi Joe.

First I just looked at the pics and thought, "Great looking model, maybe I should try one." Then I read your list of additions. Way out of my league buddy.
Outstanding job, as usual.
