Hi all,
I've just registered here and this is one of my builds. It is a Tamiya 1/24 Nissan Skyline R34 V-Spec II Nur. It is an OOB builds with an addition of carbon fiber decals on the bonnet/hood.
The paint is Gunze's super black with 5 layers of clear coats, rubbed with Gunze's rubbing compound, a few hours of waxing as well as a hefty amount of cursing and ranting.
Comments and criticisms are welcome...
:-)

Hi Imran
first of all, welcome to Armorama.
Your Skyline looks amazing. The gloss black paintjob is superb.

Mirko: Thanks for the comments. This was actually done a few years ago
Matt: I build it OOB because I wanted to make this a very fast build. I have a few other model cars that is still in progress with lowering done and a full scratchbuild bodykit.
Jesper: Thanks for the welcome. I am still learning with every builds though.

Gloss black has to be one of the hardest colors to paint and you pulled it off perfectly! Amazing! Your model takes me back to when I was stationed on Okinawa and it was every Jarheads' dream to have a pimped out Skyline! Man, those were the days! Great work and thanks for the memories!

I just love Skylines! Starting from the sixties till present, including that wild concept car...
You did an amazing job with the black paint, looks very real. And even though I dont like rear spoilers on cars myself, I think that this baby needs it to stay on the road
Happy Modeling!
