Cool car.
Nice finish. I recently read a book where a builder used a dremil and buffed his finish to a polish and applied the final coat. Have you ever tried doing anything like that to ensure you get a great finish?
I'm not trying to say you need that option on this one - it's nice and shiney.

i would never use a dremel on a finished paint job, it would make to much heat and melt it!
I use polishing compound and a soft cloth!
nothing works better then some elbow grease!

4 days. I'm lucky if I can finish a model in two month :-)
You certainly done an amazing job on Marcello Gandini's masterpiece. The Countach has always been one of my favorit supercars.
The paintjob and engine details are just superb.

Good point about the heat. The author did mention you had to be very careful not to burn the kit and not to 'sling' it across the room because the speed was to high. At least on a military AC the option was to make it a selected replacement panel if he burned a panel. Can't really do that on a car.
