How would you remove masking tape residue. I left a mask on too long and there is residue left. Its on Tamiya spray paint. Terp on a Qtip?

A weak solvent such as mineral spirits or turpentine should do it. There is the possibility that the tape has imprinted in the paint film. If this is the case the only solution is to sand smooth and repaint.

I have a tip that will remove the residue tape from your model…baby oil! During one of the four operations I have had, there was some residue left behind. Then this Nurse said that by using baby oil and a cotton ball and using light pressure in a circler motion will remove the residue left behind. It worked out pretty well. Now I do have to say that I never had to use this method on a kit, but I did use it not only on myself but on a few products my wife brought home with those stubborn sticky price tags, you know the ones. Then just follow up with a soap and water clean up.
