So, I know this has been asked in the armor side so here goes in the Car world.
How many kits do you finish in a year? Why so many or few? Superdetailing, or painting...

I hope to finish 3 this year. main reason: time!
I am away from home for about 16 hours a day, and of the remaining 8, I sleep about 6 or 7 of them, so ...
Only in the weekends do I have the time to get some things done ( waiting for paint to dry, for instance ).

Wow - three. On top of that wow - 16 hours a day away. That's a TON. I can see why you only get three done. Sorry about that.

So far two and hopefuly a third by years end, for the G.S.Y.E. campaign. This year I didn't build as many, mostly due to building armor kits. I still by car kits for the stash and my Jeff Gordon kits.
What I have built this year...well a 70's Funny Car driven by the late and my all time favorite "Jungle Jim" Liberman. It's a Revell kit with a resin 70 Camaro body using Slixx decals. I added in my normal wiring and fuel supply lines. The second was a AMT Duster, a car driven by a local here in the Super Gas class. Detailed the engine with some wiring and tubbed the rearend and stuffed in some fat wide compounds. The front shoes recieved a set of pizza cutters, and some cool paint.
The third is a Pro Stock Mustang driven by "Dyno Don" Nicholson, this one is for the Gentle Men Start Your Engines campaign. This kit is a re-release of the old MPC Fire Starter kit.
So thats where I'm at, anyone else...

James - you're a machine
That's just a few and with the quality you put in them - fantastic.

Last year I tried to finish off an old 'shelf queen' kit per month and almost made it. With kits for contests and all I finished 13 last year.
So far this year.... ummm ... one.
I have many within striking distance, but will probably not finish more than one or two by years end.
Hopefully 07 is more productive.
Mike

I finish two car models a year. Could be a lot more, but I also build armor and figures.
Currently working on a slightly customised Ford Galaxie 500XL.
