Just a few pics of my Shelby, i am calling this one finished except for a few small details like painting the tire values and lug nuts. This was over all a smooth build but i did have to replace the exhaust pipes as they were way to small for a race car and i think it needs slightly wider tires but i didn't have the proper replacements so i let go. All comments welcome.

Great looking shelby. I love the top side of this model. I would personally like to see a dark wash on the bottom.

Is me or doesn't it look like the back window is a bit off on the top edge. Could be the picture and/or angle... Sorry if this seems nit-picking, actually just curious really. Great job, just love the lines of the Shelby... I agreee the chassis could use a wash, but then again many racing machines are shown off before races, this could have been cleaned up for a special reason.

Thanks James and Brian, and Brian you were the only one that noticed the rear window, all 65-66 Shelby Mustang race cars had a gap between the rear window and roof about a scale 3 inches the windows i believe were made of plexi glass, i think it had something to do with aero dynamics, i checked some references that detail is correct. I do agree that the chassis needs a black wash i will do that tonight.

Beautiful Job rv1963.
I like color of the red oxide primer on the underside, was it a custom mix or out of the bottle paint? I agree that it needs a was down there too.

Fantastic Model but I would like to see it with a black wash on the underside of it.

Nice. Very nice! I especially like the little details like tape on the headlights and the fact that you install AND paint valvestems. Sometimes the little things just light up a model.
Again, nice!
