I havent built a Hot Rod in a long time so I got started on this one! I used a small block chevy from AMT's 57 chevy pickup, the car will be all yellow as you can see the frame is already painted.

James is doing a Hot Rod! Alright!
Very nice body indeed and how about some close-ups of that small block? I love your engine so far and I always love a closer look.

Astounding as usual,

Man that looks real sharp, great start James I real love the detail work, right down to the brass soft plugs in the block. What tires and rims will be added on...I hope a set of fattys in the rear, something like a set of 33's After seeing yours makes me wanna finish up the many I have started and boxed. Other than the yellow paint will you be doing any graphics...

I started one like 3 years ago along with many others, I was going for the low-boy with no top. I also did the big Revell 32 in 1/16th. That one I cut open the door and hinged it suicide style. For the engine, drivetrain and wheels, I swiped them from Revell's 1/16th Funny Car kit.

Hey have you even done the AMT "Vicky'' car, that is a great little kit. I have it but never got to it. I have dry fitted it and everything looks nice, very little flash also.

Anyhow great looking start and waiting to see more.

Joe
