plan is a faded red pantjob, white bumbers, some weathering some junk in the back etc..

Now this is a sharp looking truck the weathering of the rims look real convincing. How did you achieve in rusting them so…this would also look like a sweet street rod or even a tow truck.

for the rims, i paint them flat black, then using chalk pastels, scrape off some of a rust color one so you have a pile of chalk dust, then just brush it on, i also add some white pastel on there to.

I love this style truck too. I echo what Joe said about the weathering - put a dirt road or farm field under it and you've got the real thing.
Personally, I see a chrome/rusty bumper on it.

just a small update, installed the rear bumber
no, I dull coat the tires first, that seems to make the pastel stick very good and it doesnt rub off unless you use a wet cloth
