hello all
I normally model British armour, but for a change I would like to build a car or two. My preference would be for 1960's & 70's British classics. Which manufacturers should I consider for relative ease of constructio and painting in a scale close to 1/20 to 1/35.
thanks for any assistance

As far as ease of construction Tamiya is a good brand to go with. The one's I have built always go together quite easily with little 'extra' work necessary.
As far as British 60s and 70s classics - not sure what they have to offer. They may have something like a Morgan. They do have a mini Mk I and II were in your time frame.

Tamiya has made, in 1/24 scale the following british cars:

Lotus Europa S
Austin Mini ( out of production )
Jaguar Mk II saloon
Morgan 4/4

I do recall Hasegawa having the Jaguar XJS in their inventory, scale 1/24. It's out of production so it may be hard to find now.

Also, Gunze Sanyo do some excellent Lotus cars.

I hope this helps for now.

Richard
