Well, I wrapped it up today! I submit this for your approval.

However, I tried to put this photo into the MG Model of the Quarter Folder in the Gallery and no matter what I do, it just loads into my personal gallery. How do I add it to the Folder dedicated to MOQ?

You should be able to upload directly to this gallery:
MOQ1 Gallery

Just make sure it says on the page Model Quarter 1 2007, click on upload photos, and the next screen shows you the proper gallery it going to. It should read under your call sign Model Quarter ! Automoble.

Thanks all. This is my favorite car in the whole world AND, I think, my favorite build ever. I positively loved how the rear-end tubjob came out and not to mention (though I will) the whole rebuilt interior.
I have to thank a couple of people.

Joe (Mother) for a box of parts and goodies. You simply rock, my friend!
Rob (RV1963) for the blower body, manifold and scoop. Thank you!
You guys helped, make no mistake. I learned more from Joe's builds than I can account for.
For the WIP thread:

Cuhail's '70 GTO Pro-Street

And thanks Scott, for getting me off my duff to finish this one.

Thanks Jesper!

Would you guys believe that there is NO gloss coat on this car? That's just hand-rubbed color coat. I could almost see the color of my eyes in the reflection! :-) I can't say enough about Squadron's sanding wands.

Peace!

I took a bunch of pictures to get the shot I submitted. I was just going through them all and, I swear, I am living proof that a great camera doesn't do anything without some talent behind the lens. I just suck at photography. I think I'm going to spend an hour outside today just shooting pics. Practice makes perfect, right?

Here's two of the others in the shoot the other day.

Gad's they're horrible! Any quick tips?

Cuhail,
Nice job on the old goat.
The best photo tip I can give is only if the camera has an adjustable F-stop, use the highest number that you can, even if it means having to use a tripod due to a very long exposure time. This will produce the largest depth of field (the most area that will be in focus). Most cameras these days default to the fastest shutterspeed, this causes the exact opposite to happen at our short focal distances. Look in the manual and see if you can change it to adjust based on F-Stop or Aperture instead.

I personally like to do most of my shots of models from as close to "eye level" as I can, as if a scale person is photographing the model.

HTH,
Dave

Thanks, THAT'S what I was looking for....read the manual! I have the little Canon EOS Rebel XT "Pocket Guide" and, thanks to you, I now know a bit about both the camera and how to use it to more productively. I adjusted the picture quality from 5.5mb to 8.0mb and learned how to get the aperature to the highest number, 36. I own two tripods and the one I use is very good with lots of knobs and has the ability to raise the camera to 7 feet high and down to 1'6".
Maybe I can work it up better now. I'll let you know.

Thank you,
Cuhail

Alright, cleaned the lens (definitely part of the problem) and took some more pix.

Lemme know,

aaannnddd, my personal favorite, with a little, little bit of photo-editing...

Best pictures I have ever taken!

Yeah. Gigi says with the background in there, it almost looks real. I'm gonna try a couple of ideas that brought to mind!
The licence plate came from ACME Licence maker.

No truer words have ever been spoken, my friend. I had my published photographer fiancee sit down and explain to me all about F-Stop and Aperature and light levels and ISO and all I could think was "Shut up and take the bloody pictures for me!" but, that's just a lot more work than learning to do it myself, so again, I thank you.

No problem, I wish I had someone of that caliber to learn from. I studied Photography way back in freshman year in highschool, I've forgotten most of it though.

That stance is sweeeeeet. I love the low, growler/stalker look. I pulled it off with my 70 GTO Pro Street, but, haven't tried your method yet. I'm watching!

Cuhail

NICE !
