Operational Overview
The M113 is probably the most versatile armored vehicle ever produced. 40 years and counting with life extension programs being implemented even today. It's not the prettiest thing to look at but vastly appreciated by those who have served on or with it.

This campaign will highlight the many roles the M113 has played in all the countries where it has served, with the exception of US and Israel vehicles, to encourage some research work...for example, one of the following countries can be chosen:
Germany, Chile, Spain, Greece, Argentina, Australia, Egypt, Canada, Brasil, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy....you name it!

For this campaign, the british FV 432 APC family will be accepted as well.

The Rules and Regs
Anything built on a M113 chassis is included. The possibilities are too numerous to list but in short it includes troop carriers, engineer recovery vehicles, sp guns/mortars, VISMODS, cargo and radar/EW vehicles. If it has that distinctive running gear then it's in. This also includes the newer upgraded M113s with an additional pair of roadwheel. And of course, minus a set of roadwheels, the M113 C&R Lynx.

In or out of service it doesn't matter. Pre or post production and prototypes for those adventurous types. Plus the M113 lineage will be represented with the inclusion of the M114, YPR-765 series, AIFV and the KIFV.

All kits and conversions welcome. Solitary or in a diorama and with or without figures. What if´s are also welcome! Nothing beyond test fitting prior to the start date.

No entry limits, to incentive small scale builders. Also only one ribbon will be awarded to each participant
