Operational Overview
In Dec.92 President Clinton ordered US troops to join UN peace keeping forces in attempt to restore order in Somalia. Over the next several months, the situation deterioated. On the 5th of june in 1993, 24 UN Pakistaini troops were ambushed and killed.

On 22 aug. 93, task force rangers consisting of one company of rangers from 3/75, a special forces unit, and a deployment package of the 160th SOAR were ordered to Mogadishu, Somalia. They departed on 26 aug. 93.

Once there, they were to conduct operations to capture General Aidid and designated others alive.

On the afternoon of 3 oct. 93, two of Aidid's top leaders were meeting in a two story building one block north from the Olympic Hotel in central Mogadishu. The task force sent in 21 aircraft, 12 vehicles ans 160 soldires to arrest them.

I'm sure by now everyone has read the book and/or saw the movie Black Hawk Down.

The Rules and Regs
This mission is to build any of the vehicels or aircraft ( single piece or diorama) used by any of the US or UN peace keeping forces, Somali technicals. Lets just say, if it was there build it. Time frame 1992-1993.

US Army, Marines, Navy SEALs, US Airforce and Pakistainis. Just a few of the the top of my head, some of the equipment used, MH-60 black hawks, MH-6 little birds, humvees, M809 5 ton trucks, Marine/Army cobras, AC-130 spectre gunships, Figures all scale and apc's. If i have forgotten some or anybody, please inform me.
