Operational Overview
FORKED TAILED DEVIL:
What was it like to fly into combat riding a cutting edge fighter that was still a little beyond the then unknown phenomenon of compressibility stall which could hitch a ride at any moment without warning due to the exceptionally clean lines of the P-38? Making it fast and deadly.

In combat the P-38 was a good plane for the vast expanse of the Pacific war and with 2 engines it gave a little more confidence to a young pilot over that Great Big Blue pond. A nose full of hurt and enough fuel to go the distance which it did on many occasions.
I propose a group build of a most distinguished fighter in the service of the USAAF during WWII.

The Rules and Regs
RULES:
1. Any version associated with the P-38.
2. Any scale.
3. Dios welcome.
4. Kit can be up to 50% started. Post a shot of the kit before beginning the campaign.
5. At least (2) in progress photos posted, the more the better.
6. And (1) photo of the finished a/c posted to the campaign gallery.
7. HAVE FUN.
