Spring is here and its time to get out and either use your truck for utility or showing off on the roads. AMT/Ertl brings a kit for each duty.
In the show off realm, the Ford Double Flip Pickup. This hot rod oldie looks like a fun build. A dump bed with a ful engine under a front flip hood. Lots of opportunity for custom wiring and plumbing. This one is boxed under the MPC label and is being distributed via AMT/Ertl

The other kit is a basic GMC Sonoma from 1994. It can be built to help with daily work. For a pickup fan or a GMC collector, this one will make it to your list.

Thanks Scott. The GMC I haven't seen before, but, the Ford has to be a re-release of the same model I built when I was 10. It looks the same and AMT is just always on the hunt to shortcut the modeler for their hard-earned cash. Not that I'm cynical or anything. Cuhail

Have to agree - the image even has MRC as a logo So it's rehash. But a fun looking truck none-the-less

What I want to know is when is AMT/Ertl going to release more of their truck tractors! They used to have a bunch (Kenworth, Peterbilt, Autocar, Mack, etc), but now you can only find them for crazy money on eBay! Jim
