Decalcas are to release hopefully in early March a detail set for Revell's 1/24th Ford GT.
Ford GT - 24 Hours Le Mans 2017
Detail up set
Item No - DCL-PAR003
Scale - 1/24th

Set of resin parts to be used on the 1/24 scale Ford GT Le Mans kit by Revell, for improving the less detailed areas of the original model such as rims, brake discs and calipers, tyres, rear diffuser, fuel inlets, compressed air intake, steering wheel, etc. All parts have been computer designed with last generation 3D software.

Additional details for the Ford GT detail up set:
Manufactured by Decalcas in 1/24 scale with reference DCL-PAR003.
Raced at the 24 Hours Le Mans in 2017.
To be used with Revell references REV07041 and 07041.
Includes resin parts and assembly instructions.

Hi Andy Thanks for the news. Those wheels and tyres look like they're in a different league entirely to the kit parts. Something I didn't mention in my review, but which I did find a bit disappointing, was the integrally-moulded windscreen wiper. It's not bad - but a separate part as here should look much better. Totally agree, they look really nice. It will be good to see if the actual castings are as good as the 3D rendering. If I could change one thing about all of the car kits in my stash, that would be it. They never look quite right regardless of how good you are at detail painting or pinwashing. Cheers, D
