One of the latest releases of BRAVO-6 ; B6-35115 U.S. Military Cameraman WW2 includes a 1/35 scale resin cast standing figure with his camera which can be used in different World War II scenes combined with figures from other companies but perfectly accompany to Tankers in the Mood trio.

Represented in standard cardboard box of company labeled with a photo of painted figure; body and other parts are inserted into small plastic bags.
Parts are cast in grey resin with easy to remove casting blocks. Resin quality is good, details are clean and sharp. There will be a need to clean seamlines inside legs and arms.

Posed to record with his camera, figure comes in 3 pieces ; full body with head and 2 seperate arms. He has an OD knit wool Jeep cap on his head. Texture of the cap, hair and facial details are well defined.

He wears M37 Uniform of wool shirt with 7 button opening front, two flap cover breast pockets, button cuffs and wool trousers with two side and two rear slash pockets. Over the uniform, he has M41 Field Jacket with buuton closure flap, side slash pockets, shoulder straps and button cuffs. Jacket is tightened with a Pistol Belt on the waist and a Dual Magazine Pouch is cast on the left side. Details and cloth folds of jacket and trousers are well defined. As for the footgear, he has short boots and M38 Leggings laced up outside and secured with a strap passing under the boot.

Arms posed to hold the camera show nice cloth folds and detailed with cuffs and buttons.

Other parts are;

  • M1911A1 in leather holster will be assembled to the right side.

  • Canteen in canvas cover

  • Camera is a non-reflex Bell & Howell 35mm Eyemo 71-MM compact turret camera which was the favorite choice of combat cameramen by its small size and ruggedness.

    Useful complementary figure for World War II scenes with usual BRAVO-6 nice sculpt and cast.
    Highs: Nice subject, sculpt and cast. Ease on assembly with less parts.
    Lows: No lows on this one.
    Verdict: Useful figure for World War II scenes.
