They come in white plastic bottles with a push-lock cup securing that they will not spill no matter what you will do (turnover , fall, etc.).

The quantity in each bottle is 200 ml each, and is definitely a quantity enough to last for a long time, especially if you work only with figures and not bigger dioramas, that will demand more stuff.

The Material:

The Easy Work range features 5 different pastes, of high density. They’re thick pastes, and they can be easily manipulated with a small artist’s spatula, or a wooden stick, or anything else that you would prefer to work with.

They come with different names for different works:

BASE: Water soluble, White color, no smell, no visible particles, and smooth paste form, can be used as the base to form a mass with some pigment or liquid color, for making the base groundwork setup

SAND: Water Soluble, White color, no smell, includes fine particles for recreation of sand (coast or desert). With the proper work could represent also concrete or asphalt surfaces.

GRAVEL: Water soluble, White color, no smell, includes larger particles, and is a nice base for recreating coarse soil. You can also add small pebbles if you want to make the terrain rougher.

MUD: Water soluble, Ochre Brown color, no smell, includes smaller particles and can be used to recreate clay grounds, and of course get addition of other materials, to make a rougher terrain.

EARTH: Water soluble, White color, no smell. This could be the most common to use material, as it will beautifully recreate many kinds of soil.

Out of the bottle:

As you can see in the pictures, I took a small piece of wood and picked some portion of each material, to see how it looks, how it spreads and how it is, when is dry.

The paste spreads easily and can be formed, in anyway (shape), you like it. It is thick enough, to keep the formation and when is dry, it will have, a rock hard structure at the shape you gave when it was still wet.

The time of drying, relates to the work space temperature, but I would leave it, for some hours before proceeding to painting and other overwork. Of course as almost everything, that is water soluble, you can speed up the drying, by using a hair dryer, or putting your base under a lamp.

All my tools got really quick clean with some water rinsing. That was all.

Health Protection:

One thing, I always care and try to check for, is the health issues that a product - material might cause to the modeler – user.

These pastes that are used for groundwork representations are very possible to get in touch with your hands and also even with your face. It is clearly written on the bottle, that they are Harmless for the Human body, and that are water soluble.

After my trials and the remaining that I had on my hands, left them to dry on purpose for quite a long time. After this I washed my hands, and the came out in a second without leaving me any mark or feeling or irritation.

Of course they must be out of reach of children, but I think they are really friendly for adult users.

Conclusion:

If you work with historical miniatures, or dioramas, or any kind of modeling involving groundwork representation, these pastes will help you, to do your Work Easy! They are easily manipulated with water and simple tools, and can take additional stuff to enhance the final result.
