    The book includes eight chapters. Seven chapters explain different painting methods, techniques with enamel, acrylic and oil paints, give information on combining colors and tell artists’ color recipes as one chapters is about making figure bases.

  • Techniques For Combining Acrylic and Oil Colours For Skin Tones & Leather Clothing : Man Jin Kim paints ST Models 90-002 Claus von Stauffenberg. He brings us perfect step-by-step article showing painting the face and clothing. The article has 65 photos in numeric sequence with an explanatory text and 7 photos of the finished product in 10 pages.

    All articles are very understandable, helpful and useful. Photos in numerical sequence makes it easier. Photo quality is very good and for this book, making figure bases article is a great help.

    Highs: Many colorful step by step photos and explanatory text on different subjects.Sculpting and converting articles are very useful.Lots of hints and tips for painting.

    Thanks for the review Engin! I'm honestly a novice when it comes to the application of painting fine details and could use all the help I can get, at least that's how I feel each time I attempt to paint figures. This may be a series that would benefit me, do you think it would be worth hunting the series down to add to my library?

    Great thanks Bill Any thoughts on which issues you guys think I should start off with? My focus is Medieval and earlier, with a little bit of WWI thrown in.
