We need a banner for this thing so I can promote it on our Facebook page. Anybody good at this stuff?

I realized something today. I have a Chevy pickup and a Chrysler Turbine car in my stash. I could have used them for the build instead of the CMP and WC military vehicles I chose. It would have saved me the cost of buying them, but then, what is this hobby for other than building kits we we don't have in our stash and need to buy.

We have a Facebook page? Am I the only person on the planet that doesn't use Facebook?

I'm not a fan of Facebook either although it is a good way to promote the site.

Whats Facebook? I am not a fan either or a member of Facebook. If it helps to promote our hobby maybe I should join it.

Perfect Randy...if only I could use it without taking some flak
Actually, for FB, that is more the size I need, I made a mistake with the banner size (FB requires something like 830 x 250). Can you resize them Rob?

Thanks Rob! I couldn't make your picture work to the correct size but I did use your idea and creativeness
(and as an unexpected bonus, the AutoModeler logo is blocking some of that ugly Dodge. Seriously, I didn't plan that...)

Cheby: Since I can't find a Chevrolet Spark kit, I think I will build Revell's 1968 Corvette.
Hemi: Revell's gorgeous 1969 Charger og perhaps The beautiful Christine by AMT.

Have just recently ordered AMTs 1950 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup
Would Ford's 1950 Pickup be an acceptable pairing?

No,
It needs to be a Mopar vehicle to go with the Chevy not Ford.

Hi I'm interested to join the campaign for next year.
would be ok for this pair?
I have a Revell 2010 Camaro, best choice would be Revell 2009 Dodge Challenger (Still have to order online)
if not can I do a 2010 Camaro vs 70 Cuda?
Cheers!!!

Hi folks. Catch up time, there seems to be quite a bit of interest still developing. Excellent!
Chester, welcome to the greatest scale modeling forum in the entire universe! I'm sure you will enjoy your time here. Either of your proposed pairings will be fine, I look forward to watching your builds evolve, so please make sure you post up plenty of progress pics.
Rob, LOVE the Camaro mate, great choice! That other thing, well, just do your best. Cool banner as well, looks like they took that photo a fraction of a second before the con rods shot out through the side of the Hemi block and the driver threw his hands in the air with an all too familiar "Not Again!"
Pricklehead, I've always considered picking up that truck but just never quite managed it, so I'm keen to see how it builds up. Let us know which MOPAR/HEMI mechanical disaster you dredge up to go with it.
Jesper, my man, '68 Vette, awesome! I suppose I will just have to tolerate whichever you select to build alongside it.

Been having trouble matching it with something, so I am thinking of a bit of a diorama based around a Texaco station and perhaps a '57 Chevy Bel Air and a '56 Chrysler 300B
