Hey guys, it's been a busy few months but I have been trying to sneak in some modelling every now and then. The easiest way to update for me is usually on instagram. So, I have decided to create a thread here from pics I have taken on my phone.

I've been slowly cranking away at the Baldwin Motion Camaro. It has an LT1 from a 2017 Camaro.

I have also been working on a Tamiya GT-R as well. Next up is applying some carbon decals.

That's some clean work. The wheels look weird but these are probably just mock ups

Hey guys sorry I haven't posted in awhile.

Anyway, here are a collection of kits I have built in the last few months. Not nearly as many as I wanted to but a few nonetheless.

Fujimi S14 Nissan Silvia

Revell Foxbody Mustang

Revell Foose 65 Impala

Revell Lamborghini Countach (One of the worst kits I have built)

Revell Ferrari 360 (Don't Mind the reflection of the textured base)

Hi, Calvin

Some interesting ones. I wanted to ask you about the Countach, but you have answered in advance I gave up buying Revell kits because it's a lottery - you never know what to expect from them and that's a shame, because some kits are just so good. The last three I bought were all flops and I decided to ditch them I'm curious to see how the company it's going to look under new management.

The wheels look nice but I don't particularly like the stance... I know it's trendy in US but it's just a little too much for my eye. I'm getting old I guess

Cheers!

Majority of the Revell of Germany and modern Revell kits are actually pretty good. I just find that certain 80s kits seem to be lacking. The Countach was one of them. But that usually happens with kits that are tooled 30 years ago. Some AMT kits or early Fujimi kits are pretty poor as well. A lot of 90s Tamiya kits were actually Revell of Germany kits. For example, the Tamiya BMW 325i or Mercedes 500SL were all Revell kits and they all build very nicely despite being over 25 years old.

Calvin,
That's some nice collection of muscle cars. The Motion Camaro is truly outstanding. Baldwin is on the south Shore of Nassau County on Long Island, and I've actually been there! the paint on the Tamiya GT-R is eye taking as is the finish on the rest of your cars.

Like Gabriel, I've never gotten use to seeing street cars with really noticeable camber, in this case some really extreme negative camber. Still, the finished car is a real eye catcher.

Thanks Joel, I appreciate it.
I think for me, I hate it when people are driving on the street static with anything over -4 degrees of camber. However, if a car is on air suspension, they typically would be able to drive at a decent ride height and the negative camber naturally happens due to suspension geometry when the car is air'd out to park. It wouldn't be excessive either between -2 to -3 I am ok with. I just don't like seeing cars with -7 to -15 degrees of camber.
