are there any 1928 to 1935/ 40 civilian cars available in 1:35 scale? I know there's a truck or two and some post war fiat, vw, jeeps.

but i'm thinking of Austin or other similar with "wings' fenders rather than the closed cars of the late '40s & early '50s. styrene preferred, but resin is fine. thanks

Hello. ICM has a load of them. Little work to get them civilised. Tamiya also has Citroen Traction in 1/35. Google it.

I would take a look at ICM and Miniarts catalogue.

ICM releases a 1914 Taxi de la Marne(Renault)later, this year, but perhaps that is to old.

Reveal does a WWII Kdf. Volk Wagen. Like I said and Jesper follows ICM. Very good and super detailed. Might be a price issue, some are not cheap. Their Opel Kadet looks awesome. There is also a Fiat Topolino. Very popular kit, don't know the manufacturer, but looks the part.

Romanian producer Wespe Models has lots of resins as well. But be ready to scratch-build almost everything.
I have their BMW 305 but... hell! I need everything other than the body.

I like the BMW. is it a good casting? when I enlarged the picture of the box it was distorted and rough (picture, that is).

Do a Google search on "1/35 German Staff Car" or "1/35 American Staff Car" and you get quite a few results. A lot of these would have started life as civilian vehicles.

in the description it alludes to being a Plymouth. I think it looks like a Heinz 57. very detailed, but a hodge-podge at best.
