Hi all well I've decided to start this one, it's supposed to be a see through model but I didn't like the fact that the roof of the clear body had the Tamiya brand moulded into it which you could clearly see so I decided to spray the body a solid colour.

Ken,
I'll 2nd what Gabriel said. Your gloss paint finish does indeed look quite glossy.

I'm really enjoying this kit, being Tamiya everything is a great fit, I'm loving the clever way they designed the rear and front windscreen, no gluing all push fit and I like that they supply masks for said windscreen anyway here's the next lot of progress.

Ken,
You're making excellent progress.

Just one suggestion. For the interior, try applying a Tamiya black panel line wash to the Aluminum center consuls. It will make the details just pop right out.

Ken,
looking good from what I can see in your pictures. Any chance you could retake them as these the focus is rather soft.

I'm right behind you Joel in this one!
Based on the initial pictures, Ken was up for a very good start. Now it's very difficult to say how his build really looks. I'm quite sure it's a good one!

Hi Joel hopefully these pics are in better focus
It's finished I must say I enjoyed it.
Since I mentioned turning the 1/8 traction avant into a steampunk vehicle I think this looks like it would be fairly easy to turn into a steampunk vehicle so I may practice on this one first.

Ken, looks good, mate! And yes, the natural light works wonders in the new set of pictures!

Steampunk Mercedes will be a very odd fish indeed
