Nice review Andy.
That does look seriously neat - and like you say, the moulding quality on these Tamiya kits from around the millennium is still excellent.
I've just ordered the Hasegawa Lamborghini Miura that dates back to around 2004, so I'll be interested to see if it still looks as sharp.
All the best

Great review Andy of the Toyota TS020.
If you look at the video and a few cockpit photos I've seen online it would appear the 'barrel' is the automatic engine fire extinguisher. Photos show a pressure gauge plus cables and hoses.
See at the 38 sec mark.

Oh lots of carbon fibre in that cockpit!

Thanks guys.
Thanks Lucky, that would explain it, thought it couldn't be a fuel tank, bit of a daft place to put one lol.
Quite a handy video for the insides.

Andy,
Thanks for an excellent review. Another Tamiya winner for sure. I just love their FIA endurance cars. Looks like I'll be ordering one or even two of these beauties.

Thanks, Joel.
They did produce a "Full-View" Version one as well, which came with a clear body shell. Haven't actually seen one for sale, so they might be a bit difficult to get hold of, but would look stunning when done.
